2004
Dining with Friends
The 2004 Dining with
Friends event will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2004.
If you would like to host a dinner party, or host one collectively
with friends, the deadline to commit is March 4th. And don’t
forget that your imagination is the limit on dinner themes! Themes
from the past include Mardi Gras, Mexican Fiesta, Surf and Turf
— anything goes. And don’t forget that all expenses
associated with hosting your party are tax deductible. Be sure to
get the appropriate forms when you commit.

You might want to schedule your dinner a little early this year
so you and your guests can enjoy the wonderful vocal group Chanticleer,
which will be performing at 7:30 at Trinity Methodist Church on
Airport Road as part of the Huntsville Chamber Music Guild season.
The Chamber Music Guild is offering a special ticket price for Dining
With Friends attendees. Click on the link for more details about
the concert.

Following the individual dinner parties, a fabulous "MoTown
Magic" themed dessert and champagne reception will be held
at the home of Tricia and Gregg Bragg in Covemont. As a special
treat, members of the Grammy-award winning vocal group Chanticleer
will appear at the reception following their concert for the Huntsville
Chamber Music Guild.
There will also be over 20 pieces of art — all decorated
by some of Huntsville’s most coveted artists — on silent
auction. The pieces are hand-painted originals and all proceeds
go to the Aids
Action Coalition.
And for the first time this year, the Aids
Action Coalition has developed both individual and corporate
sponsorships.
